Off Grid Systems
The course covers in a technical and intensive way the autonomous photovoltaic solar systems (isolated from the electrical grid) These systems use batteries to store the energy generated by the panels This energy can be used at any time of the day, whether for residential, commercial, industrial or other autonomous application
With the course you will learn how to design a complete photovoltaic system, from the topology and number of solar panels needed, the size and configuration of the battery bank, the power of the charge regulator and the inverter, the autonomy and the cost and convenience that the project will have
Some applications of autonomous systems are:
Backup or back-up systems for power outages
Residential or industrial systems in places where there is no electricity grid
Water pumping and/or irrigation systems
Various uses such as beacons, emergency poles, cell phone chargers, etc.
